TV box sets on Blu-ray include a digital copy of the full season, and a single code unlocks every episode. Season prices on Vudu and Apple run $20 to $40, so these codes are often the cheapest legal way to own a series. Stock is smaller than for movies because far fewer TV discs are sold, so if a season you want is listed, it may not come back once it sells out.
TV codes are platform-specific: Movies Anywhere does not carry television, so each listing redeems on the single platform named in its title. HBO seasons are usually Vudu or iTunes or Google Play, sold as separate listings. Check the title before buying, and see the Vudu, iTunes or Google Play guide for redemption steps.
Frequently asked questions
Does the code include all episodes?
Yes. The listing states the season or the series, and every episode in it is added on redemption.
Why are TV codes not Movies Anywhere?
Movies Anywhere only supports films. Television stays on the platform where it is redeemed.
Are these HD?
Yes unless the title says SD. A few older series were only released in SD digital.
Some listings say expired. What does that mean?
HBO printed expiry dates on many inserts. Those codes may still work but are not guaranteed by the studio, so they are priced lower and the listing says so.
US only?
Yes.
