DC Universe

Live action, animated, and the classics

DC's live-action films get regular 4K disc releases with Dolby Vision, and those discs are where our 4K codes come from. The DC Universe animated movies, from Batman: Under the Red Hood to the newer Tomorrowverse films, are some of the cheapest codes in the store and rarely discounted anywhere else. Older Warner Bros titles were UltraViolet codes; UltraViolet closed in 2019 and those now redeem directly on Vudu.

Some listings carry "EXPIRED" in the title. Warner Bros prints an expiry date on many of its inserts, and those codes are listed at a lower price because the studio no longer guarantees them; each listing explains what to expect before you buy. Related pages: Batman, Superman, Warner Bros, 4K.

Frequently asked questions

Where do DC codes redeem?

Most at Movies Anywhere, which syncs to every linked retailer. Titles labelled "VUDU HD" alone redeem on Vudu directly. The title of each listing states the platform.

What does "expired" mean on a Warner Bros listing?

The date printed on the insert has passed. Many still redeem, but the studio does not guarantee it, so those codes are sold cheaper and the listing states the terms.

Are the animated movies HD or 4K?

Mostly HD; a handful of recent ones have 4K releases and are labelled as such.

Can I upgrade The Dark Knight trilogy I own in HD?

Yes. Redeeming the 4K collection code upgrades all three films on Vudu and Apple TV.

US only?

Yes.
